Carolinas Lane will not set up or tear down other vendors' equipment.

Vendors
Carolinas Lane maintains an Open Vendor Policy, so you're free to choose your own vendors. A wedding planner or certified event coordinator is required, and all vendors must be approved by the venue and carry proper insurance.
Security Deposit & Insurance
An additional $500.00 security deposit is due by separate check prior to the Event Date. This is fully refundable within forty-eight (48) business hours following the event, provided no damage, theft, or breakage has occurred on the premises.

Yes — the property offers both indoor and outdoor spaces, so your ceremony and reception can take place on the same grounds.
Yes, our heated and cooled indoor venue space is available as a backup if the weather doesn't cooperate for an outdoor ceremony.
Yes, both a bridal suite and a groom suite are available on-site so your wedding party can get ready before the event.

Yes — Carolinas Lane maintains an Open Vendor Policy, so you're free to bring your own bartender, caterer, photographer, florist, and DJ, along with a required wedding planner or certified event coordinator. All vendors must be approved by the venue and carry proper insurance.
Venue access — for you and your vendors — begins as early as 8:00 AM on your event day, within your contracted rental period.
Carolinas Lane tables and chairs are included with your rental, and our team handles basic setup and teardown of venue furniture plus trash removal.
All decorations must be brought in and removed within the contracted Rental Period. No décor, supplies, or containers may be delivered or stored at the venue prior to the Rental Period. Only stage tape, drafting tape, painter's tape, gaffer's tape, or Scotch brand wall mounting tape is permitted for attaching items to walls, floors, or wooden pillars. All other adhesives — such as tacks, staples, screws, duct tape, electrical tape, transparent tape, double-sided tape, Command hooks, and glues — are strictly prohibited. Hanging decorations from light fixtures is not allowed. All décor must be freestanding unless pre-approved in writing by Carolinas Lane management. Furniture or floor-based items may not be brought in without prior written approval. Storage of personal or décor items in the kitchen or utility closet during the Rental Period is not allowed. All decorations must be fully removed by the end of the rental period, and any damage resulting from décor installation or removal will result in additional fees.
The use of candles must be approved in advance. Battery-operated candles are recommended. Open-flame candles must be contained in glass enclosures, and the flame must remain at least two (2) inches below the top of the glass. Fireworks of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property, with the sole exception of sparklers. Sparklers may only be used outdoors and must be lit at least ten (10) feet from any building structure. Under no circumstances may sparklers be lit inside the venue. You are responsible for providing a non-plastic bucket filled with water or sand to safely dispose of spent sparklers. Improper disposal or damage caused by sparklers will result in a damage fee. The use of rice, birdseed, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, food items, glitter, potpourri, confetti, balloons, or wish lanterns is strictly prohibited. Bubbles and sparklers are permitted outdoors only and must be approved in advance. Only real flower petals may be used. Please consult with Carolinas Lane staff for specific allowances on outdoor materials.
Carolinas Lane tables and chairs are included with your rental. Linens are not provided by the venue and should be arranged through your caterer or an event rental vendor.
A wedding planner or certified event coordinator is required for every event. You're welcome to bring your own, and our venue team is on-site to support the day of your event.
No — alcohol must be served through your contracted, insured bartender. Only beer, wine, and champagne may be served, and liquor is strictly prohibited.
No, Carolinas Lane does not provide or serve alcohol — you must contract your own insured, professional bartender who assumes all liability for alcohol service.
Yes, any bartender serving alcohol at your event must be insured and assume all liability for alcohol service.
Yes — your bartender must carry a minimum of $1,000,000 in liquor liability insurance per occurrence and a $2,000,000 general aggregate policy, with proof submitted no later than 30 days before your event.
All events, including music and entertainment, must end by 10:30 PM.
Carolinas Lane is a smoke-free and e-cigarette-free indoor property. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any part of the building and are allowed outside only. Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises except for one clearly marked designated smoking area outside. A fine of $250.00 per incident will be imposed for any violations of this policy.

Yes, you are required to maintain day-of event liability insurance, listing Carolinas Lane as an additional insured.
Event liability insurance is required for applicable events at Carolinas Lane Venue, and must include general liability coverage, Carolinas Lane listed as Additional Insured, coverage for the full date and duration of your event, and host liquor liability coverage if alcohol is served. Your Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be submitted no later than 30 days before your event. Vendors can purchase through our preferred partner, eWed Insurance, or from another provider as long as it meets these requirements.
Yes, you're welcome to use any licensed insurance provider, as long as the policy meets our event liability requirements.
Yes, any vendor providing alcohol, catering, or other services on-site must carry their own liability insurance and provide proof upon request.
